Time to sort this yukky chair out

Well, I think we can all agree that this chair qualifies for 'yukky' award, yes?

Gross, vile, disgusting

The only way to deal with such a situation is to delve into my most precious mini-stash of Amy Butler fabric, the design I am using is called Sophie's Garden and you can discover Amy Butler here. Twice a year or so, I go to Machynlleth, the 'ancient capital of Wales' and replenish my ever-hungry fabric cupboard from The Deco Shop.... such joy, such bliss can rarely be found.

Midway through Chair Regeneration Strategy Implimentation Plan Phase One, I took a wee diversion and wizzed up a funkalicious iPhone case. (In reality, it took an aeon and was a deeply frustrating, curse and cuss-filled, finger-jabbing-with-pins session, but n'er mind, got there in the end).

Meanwhile, I stumbled upon these long-forgotten little beauties I had squirrelled away in a dank cupboard...

And so, many more grey hairs later, we unveil the new-fangled-snazzed-up Cadair Awen, straight from Ceridwen's Lair.

P.S. I just have to mention a wonderful site I stumbled upon during research for this post. It is Meeni by Madeline Norris, it is very gorgeous and well worth a wander.

  1. The re-covered chair looks lovely (every boring "office" chair should have a make over like this...."fabric bombing"), the sweated over iPhone case is also very sweet,
Thank you for the mention, so glad you like meeni!
